Additional orders that the perudic soil moisture regime is also being recognized are the Andisols and the
Spodosols. The soils have isomesic, isofrigid or cryic soil temperature regimes. The soils are on the western
slopes and higher elevations of the Olympic Mountains in Washington State. The soils are Fulvudands,
Fulvicryands, Haplohumods, and Haplocryods. Series are seperated on udic or perudic soil moisture regime; thus
a series is not defined as having both a udic and perudic soil moisture regime. If it is being considered to seperate
out the perudic soils from the udic soils at a higher level in Soil Taxonomy in other Orders then we may need to
consider Perudands, Percryands, Perhumods, and Percryods
