Orthents is the suborder that would likely include recent landslides. Orthents include all Entisols that fail the criteria for Aquents, Arents, Psamments, and Fluvents. The soil you described with a texture of loamy fine sand and >35% rock fragments is an Orthent, so long as it does not meet ALL of the requirements of another suborder.
