Your graphics do a great job showing temperature trends over the last century. One thing I noticed is the degree of change seems greater at high latitudes than at lower latitudes. That is, a greater movement in distance from north to south at the high latitudes nearer the north pole than low latitudes nearer the equator. Why is this? Is it the sun incident angle, an artifact of the GIS projection, or some other factors?
