Intergrades between udic and ustic taxa are handled as udic intergrades of ustic great groups. For example we have taxa such as ""Udic Haplustepts"". No ustic intergrades of udic great groups are provided at this time in Soil Taxonomy
The Dystrustepts are a new great group and no need for a ""Udic Dystrustepts"" was known. Taxa are added to the classification system as needed. If ""Udic Dystrustepts are needed a proposal to add them could be made following the procedures outlined in the National Soil Survey Handbook (NSSH).
