I just received email from Otto Spaargaren at the International Soil Reference and Information Center (ISRIC), in Wageningen, The Netherlands (http://www.isric.nl). He says: The FAO classification of the Cecil sandy loam, judging from the data of the Cecil soil named in the ""Soil Survey Laboratory Data and Descriptions for Some Soils of Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina"" is Chromi-Alumic Acrisol. Same as Bob Engel's classification.
